This company is excellent. We recently bought a VW Transporter Camper Van, and found that the air conditioning was not functioning very well. I contacted Banbury Car Clinic, as they specialise in Air Con, and their reviews were very good. I called the garage and spoke with Victoria, who was very pleasant and helpful. She was able to offer me a booking the following day for a gas recharge. However, as my circumstances changed, I was required to change the appointment to another day, which Victoria was more than accommodating with. When I took the vehicle to the garage, the team identified quickly that there was more wrong with the Air Con than just the gas pressure. They performed some free of charge diagnostics, and found the van's compressor was faulty and needed replacing. I asked Victoria if they were able to do the replacement, which they were. However, I was not able to collect the vehicle on the Friday, as I had no transport. When she was aware of this, Victoria simply said that she would travel in and open the garage on Saturday, for me to collect the vehicle. To this end, as I was so impressed with the company, I asked if they were able to perform an service on the van at the same time as the Air Con repair, which they were. This was very convenient as we were taking the van to Devon the following day, and it offered us good peace of mind. We collected the van on the Saturday as planned, and everything was very hassle free. We are already planning to return the Banbury Car Clinic in the future, as we trust that Victoria and her team will do a good job at a reasonable price. Lee and Abbie Smith, Buckingham.

I had my VW serviced here within the last month and the staff were really friendly. They offered me refreshments and they cleaned my car for free. They were also super quick and had it done within a couple of hours. I loved the report which was emailed to me, showing what areas of the car needed attention- I thought this was really informative for someone who really knows very little about vehicles. However, I didn't like the price :( for work which I was fortunate enough to have done elsewhere at a reputable garage. I was also quoted £79 for a sunroof service? which after some Googling I found I could do myself... Nevertheless, I will be back next year for my next service and thank you :)

I bought a stonking XJR X308 and thought it would be best to give it a health check. I called SST and the lovely Sonia got me booked in. When I got the car to SST, Simon was all over my XJR like a kid at a theme park - his enthusiasm for all things Jaaaaag is refreshing and contagious. He quickly put the car on the ramps to do the check, and in no time spotted an incredibly dodgy and dangerous wheel bearing on the rear, the source of an annoyance in the behaviour of the rear of the car. The wheel had an inch of movement; it was totally shot. Knowing that this is a complete pain of a job to do on this model, I was expecting Simon to be able to work on the car the following week at the earliest. But Simon knowing I have a young family and wouldn't want me to use the car in its condition pulled one out of the bag and told me he would do it immediately. That day he changed the bearing, got the tracking sorted, and completed my health check. Never before have I experienced any garage like this. Professionalism beyond what is required, and friendliness on a level like they are your direct family. 5 stars simply isn't enough!!

I took my Audi A5 for an MOT at another garage and it failed. The other garage tried to charge me nearly £1600 for the MOT and repairs. Thank God I shopped around. BRS replied promptly with a quote and gave some good advice on which parts I should have changed as best practice. They quoted me less than half of what garage 1 wanted! I took my car in yesterday and they got to work on it straight away. It became a much harder job than they had expected due to ceased bolts :-( Fair play to them though; they only charged me an extra hours labour for a job that now took most of the day. I got a call to advise that the car would probably not be ready due to the extra work. I advised that this could be a problem due to me not working locally. They put extra technicians on it so I could get it back that day. The work was all explained to me and they even did a few tweaks for me today prior to its retest. Car now passed with no advisories!!! What an absolute gem this garage is. Prompt service, great price and brilliant customer service. My car will be back soon for a service and you have made a long time customer of me. Thank you

I tried these guys after receiving lots of recommendations from friends & family when I needed my brake pads/discs doing, I also had an issue with condensation in the front passenger’s headlight which I was given a helpful diagnostic about. Deanos fitted me in super quick for brake repairs & communicated throughout the process. Once I picked up my vehicle, I was given the diagnostic for the headlight repair & a detailed explanation on costs involved. I took a few weeks to decide & then re contacted the garage to give them the go ahead for the part to be ordered. Booked in & picked up the vehicle a couple of hours later, everything in perfect working order & a very happy customer. Will be using Deanos for future repairs as a great, honest & reliable garage is extremely hard to find! The courtesy car air freshener is appreciated too, it’s the little things plus the smell is amazing! Would definitely recommend this garage & the guys working there for all of your vehicle servicing requirements!

Chris is a HUGELY skilled honest , ethical and reliable mechanic. Most garages you will visit are none of these things. I have a pretty good mechanical knowledge having tinkered for years and Chris never replaces things that don’t need replacing , turns up when he says and never delivers an unexpected bill.
