Not only a great mechanic, but honest and genuinely lovely person. I had my car broken into whilst staying in Brighton. The door lock had been tampered with and electrics left on which drained the battery. Also realised at that point that my MOT had run out the day before (my own stupid fault) and he checked my car over to make sure it was all ok then called someone to get it booked in straight away for MOT so I could get home with my son. Quoted before he came, turned up on time, did a good job, didn’t overcharge for anything, stayed with my car to keep the battery running whilst I got my bags and son from the hotel (which he didn’t have to do). Had an issue with an engine management light on my Honda Jazz and was worried a spark plug had come loose. The lovely mechanic at Hanover Garage told me to pop straight over, did the diagnostics and found a misfire on one of my cylinders. Checked it over, spark plug was fine, cleaned out the coil pack and I now know I need to replace the coil pack which I will do myself. The mechanic was so lovely and helpful and wouldn’t take any payment for the diagnostic and checks, really generous and kind. Would recommend this garage highly and would use them if I lived in Brighton, thanks so much 🙌

Can't recommend highly enough Was in Brighton for 3 days for a conference when my car broke down. RAC took it to Jackson's as they were an RAC approved mechanic and left it out of hours. Called the next morning to explain my situation and they had replaced the alternator and got it ready to go before we were due to leave! They also gave us a fair quote, discussed the issue with us before doing the work; and even had an NHS discount! Also as a bonus, I didn't felt spoken down to or intimidated as a woman. 5 stars all round.
