from 61 reviews on GoogleI bought a stonking XJR X308 and thought it would be best to give it a health check. I called SST and the lovely Sonia got me booked in. When I got the car to SST, Simon was all over my XJR like a kid at a theme park - his enthusiasm for all things Jaaaaag is refreshing and contagious. He quickly put the car on the ramps to do the check, and in no time spotted an incredibly dodgy and dangerous wheel bearing on the rear, the source of an annoyance in the behaviour of the rear of the car. The wheel had an inch of movement; it was totally shot. Knowing that this is a complete pain of a job to do on this model, I was expecting Simon to be able to work on the car the following week at the earliest. But Simon knowing I have a young family and wouldn't want me to use the car in its condition pulled one out of the bag and told me he would do it immediately. That day he changed the bearing, got the tracking sorted, and completed my health check. Never before have I experienced any garage like this. Professionalism beyond what is required, and friendliness on a level like they are your direct family. 5 stars simply isn't enough!!
This is my second Jag that I have had and have taken to SST. Booking the service with Sonia was a breeze and I trust Simon explicitly with my pride and joy. They keep in touch if they find any nasties and are super helpful. Thank you top team!
Great and impeccable service. I highly recommend! After having a nightmare problem with my Jaguar XE-R Sport it became apparent that the engine was beyond economical repair. Before any major works were carried out Simon kept me regularly updated as to what his findings were and what the options were moving forward. It’s not easy to tell someone that they need a new engine and then persist to find the most cost effective solution. My car was off road for a number of weeks and Simon did offer me a courtesy car which was really helpful. I found Simon to be an honest and genuine guy that wants to deliver the best service he can, and he did just that. Thank you SST
Great service from start to finish, this was my first visit for a service and the whole experience was great from start to finish. No pressure to have work done, advice was superb this garage have a true passion for what they do. Would highly recommend to anyone not just Jag owners.
Fantastic service from Simon and the team. Took my XF in with a battery charging issue, thankfully the issue was diagnosed very quickly and the fix carried out that day. Great communication throughout and especially appreciated being sent images on WhatsApp to be kept up to date. Would highly recommend.
