By far the best garage I've been fortunate enough to find. It was recommended to me by another garage owner - a competitor - who now only does trade work. I had my car MOT tested last year and will do so again this year. It's not just the quality of the work and customer service (as genuinely impressive as those are) but also the clear and consistent honesty of advice that's communicated in a friendly and professional manner by all of the staff I've had contact with. This is especially important to me given that my old car could otherwise be a money hole. The people who work here also seem to be happy doing their job which isn't the case in many other garages I've been to. It's a great garage in terms of customer service based ethics and honesty and I would very strongly recommend Field's Car Centre as the first port of call.

I've used Halfords a couple of times now, the first was for an MOT and the second was for an emergency tyre valve replacement. Both experiences have been really positive! The team has been quick and professional, great communication and so helpful. Especially as I called another garage for the valve replacement and they said it would take 2 days and £90!! Not at Halfords, sorted the car that hour and for a fraction of the price. I'm often sceptical walking into a garage and being ripped off (likely as I don't know anything about cars!) but the guys at Halfords are always very competitively priced (often the cheapest in my area) and never make me feel that stupid when it comes to cars. Simply the best! I’m posting about the most comprehensive experience for me and my Boxster S 987 which run and looks now as new. I’d had a few issues including a roof leak that were looked at by other garages nearer me and after superficial and costly work the issues recurred. Having spoken with Chris I was impressed by both his depth of knowledge and genuine care with his time even before I’d sent the car in (total battery failure). Each problem I described was explained and his answered were detailed and made sense which is not always true in my experience when dealing with garages. He gave me options on the spectrum of work with costing and I was able to plan both the mechanical work plus roof repairs/actual drain/leaks issues addressed as well as talk about some body work and aesthetic details which the guys were brilliant at sorting. I’ve had the car back for a few weeks now in all weather conditions and it’s been brilliant! It sounds funny but I was so impressed with the transformation I joked with my wife that I wished I had another Porsche to give them to turn around. I’ve already recommended to friends and cannot fault there care and passion over a car which most of us have sacrificed a lot to own. I remain grateful and thank you they were recommended to me and despite the drive for me to get there they are worth it!

I came across E’s Auto’s around 5 or 6 years ago when my inner manchild could hold the desire for revisiting my youth no more! I’d just bought myself a beetle, some 20 odd years after selling my last one and at that point I remembered that although these little cars were mechanically as simple as they come, so am I. I needed help and reassurance. I got that from Ian and fast forward to today, Ian has lowered the bug, looked after it, year on year and built and installed a twin carb 1641, it makes me smile, a lot. I really enjoy a visit to E’s, inevitably, when you trust someone, you reveal your darkest, inner most thoughts, you know, the ones you can’t tell your wife for fear of castigation! I happened to mention to Ian that I fancied a crew cab. I now have one, fully recommissioned by E’s, oh and they built a twin carb’d 1835 for it. I’m not expressing an interest in anything VW within earshot of him again! I cannot recommend E’s Auto’s enough, Ian is proper VW guy, he is highly skilled, knowledgeable and honest, he has integrity, he cares. I’ve spent more money than my wife is aware with him, you should too!

I brought my car after my coolant starting leaking over the Christmas period. The guys at the garage replaced some parts and it ran fine for a month. The coolant level dropped once and took it back just to be sure everything was ok. In the end it was just an air pocket from what I was told but the guys checked it pretty fast for free and gave me peace of mind. Not an expert on cars but it was good that they said they’d be open to look at it again if anything happened. All in all good response and quick to react to concerns. No complaints.

We negotiate business rates with every garage we work with in Woking (including parts, labour, oil, and MOT test rates), because we send lots of bookings their way. This allows us to charge our customers a fair price, and use the difference to pay for our mechanics, customer service and tech team to provide you with an outstanding service.
