Absolutely couldn't recommend more. I'm new to the area and was a little worried about being ripped off, especially due to past experiences of my car issues being misdiagnosed and paying out the nose a few times before the actual problem was found and fixed. Nick and his son were very friendly and took my car on a test drive straight away to find the noise it had been making. They found the problem quickly, and put it up on the ramp to double check before doing anything. They were very fairly priced and fixed the problem the same day. I will definitely be using this garage in the future and recommend others to as well.

Thanks to Tony, Alex and Dan for their excellent customer service. Booked car in for discs and brakes efficient service. Picked car up had some sounds on the drivers wheel. Gave them a call they squeezed my car in on a very busy Friday and looked at it for me. Spoke to Alex who explained everything and listened to my concerns. Had the car back managed to test car today still had a bit of squeaking now on the passenger wheel managed to film the noise. Popped in for them to listen to it. Sound was recognised as possible back brakes sticking. Dan took the car and looked at the brakes for us. Didn't hear anything on the way back home. Unfortunately due to age of my car and drawing the short straw buying after the last owner didn't do much maintenance, I've had to make many visits to Autocentres, who thankfully have been incredibly professional and efficient. I've had last minute call ins for repairs, tyres, and MOTs, all of which they've tried their very best to accommodate. Communication is great as they keep you up to date along the way and give accurate time estimations. Unfortunately, no garage is cheap and the nature of mechanical parts and labour is expensive. But they don't seem to be anymore expensive than what you'd expect for such jobs. I'd recommend Autocentres if you need a reliable garage to get you back on the road quickly.

We negotiate business rates with every garage we work with in Newport (including parts, labour, oil, and MOT test rates), because we send lots of bookings their way.
