Van was making a knocking noise driving home from work. Called in 4.30pm on the off chance. Austin was there and snowed under as usual. Told me he was very busy but drop the van off in the morning and he'll see what he can do. Phoned me by 11am to tell me what the problem was and would try and get it done the same day. Phoned me back at 4pm to say the van was repaired and ready, the price was very good too. Used them for years and it's reassuring to have an honest knowledgeable mechanic. Always a good price too. Did my timing belt last year and was £200 cheaper than the other quotes that I had had. Recommended them to many people over the years and they have never disappointed. Was recommended this garage by family who have been using them for many years. My car has been in a few times for serving, MOT and yesterday a timing belt replacement. Can't fault them at all, excellent prices and impeccable service. Very transparent with work completed, everything broken down and easy to understand. Parts were show to me when explaining wear etc. It can sometimes be daunting using a garage for the first time. I've had a few experiences in the past when I've been totally ripped off with over inflated prices and exaggerated problems. Won't name them (FRF). However, with Hoile's I felt really valued as a customer, they take the time to talk to you in detail about the work completed (to the extent I was shown pictures and videos of the work in progress) and will certainly be using them for all work in the future - they put the big companies to shame!

I can’t recommend these guys enough! I turned up out of the blue with an unrepairable front tyre, which I had replaced with my doughnut spare tyre fitted to the car. They didn’t have my tyre size in stock (not a common size), but they managed to source one online and had it delivered there in a couple of hours from over 50 miles away!
