My Audi S3 recently had a bearing noise which was getting louder when driven, which was claimed by a large chain of garages to be tyres or a wheel bearing, which they even refused to resolve. I spoke to Ash and he agreed to look over it and fit a new wheel bearing if needed. It turns out, thanks to Ash taking a thorough look at it, to be the bearings in my rear diff. Ash and his mechanics agreed to take on the work, getting the diff removed, shipped off to a specialist in scotland and back, refitted and got the car all back running within a few weeks. The lads in the workshop even did a final once over during collection to make sure I was happy to take it before a 45min drive home. I look forward to seeing them again for an MOT and service in August.

I will start with an apology to either John or Paul, I was travelling from Lincolnshire to Devon in my Motorhome 2 years ago, I was towing a trailer with a smart car on it, the trailer developed a serious problem which would realistically cancel our planned 2 week holiday, I’d just left the A14 on to the M6, I called Autopoint (Coventry), John / Paul arrived in good time , and proceeded to fix my trailer problem beyond his normal remit, I was so grateful to this mechanic for his work and ingenuity and promised him feedback, I lost his card , but I have just found it 2 years later, I am still grateful for this guys help , we had a fantastic holiday with long lasting memories… I would without doubt recommend Autopoint Mechanical Services for any breakdown service that you might unfortunately have . I'm not normally one to leave a review. But he was super helpful very polite and most importantly advised against work that didn't need to be done and could just be adjusted. He came on a Sunday replaced a full set of pads and discs and two bolt in wheel bearings. Will definitely use his service again we've asked for a quote in some work on my daughter's car.
