I came across Gatefield motors by chance by putting a small amount of diesel in my Honda Civic (petrol), someone at the station recommended me to ring Steve at Gatefield and he was very helpful and advised me with what to do, which saved me having to have it drained. Fast forward 6 months, issue with misfiring, Steve got it booked in within a day, sorted the mechanical problem out, just got to have an auto electrician to sort it now which he recommended. Also, fixed my rattling exhaust at the same time. Cant recommended them enough, great service and very reasonable prices! We had a problem the car broke down on Oldham road the m62 had been closed and the traffic was terrible. We had to stop on the main road and I phoned the most kind hearted pick up van Nad and he toed us to the garage MPG garage Oldham we were on our way to collect our daughter from Manchester airport she was not well with chest infection and we were basically stuck ! Nad towed us to the MPG garage and they took the car and fixed it within 2 hours they were so helpful friendly and skilful . They worked so hard to get us on the road quickly it’s nearly Christmas Day and we were so very grateful . This garage is highly recommended I would say 10/10 service 10/10 skill 10/10 efficient.
