I've left it a long period of time before writing my review, purely because I have been stung by unscrupulous garages before and wanted to be absolutely sure about my opinion. I drive a 2007 E93 BMW, I love this car as you'll soon realise. Last year I switched jobs which changed my driving from motorway to urban London. Within 3 months, the damage was appearing. Breakdown after breakdown. Numerous issues, mainly with overheating, oil simply burning away etc etc. 5.. yes 5 local garages all had my car towed in for repair and diagnostics. None of them could resolve the issues. I've lost count of how many radiators, pipes, sensors etc etc were replaced. I'd had enough. I wanted to keep the car, and with the introduction of ULEZ, my compliant car was not going to Khan's ridiculous scrappage scheme and I could simply not afford a replacement. I needed to find somebody who had the knowledge and experience with BMW to resolve this once and for all. After extensive research, I stumbled across IAUTO in Croydon. Apparently a main dealer alternative. I booked in for diagnostics. From the get go, the professionalism shown by Shazil and Anoop was exemplary. I explained my issue's with the vehicle and my work commitments and nothing was a problem. My car was booked in for diagnostics and I was given the use of one of their very well kept courtesy cars whilst mine was being looked at. Within a day, I had a comprehensive list of work and parts required, and a cost. Yes, absolutely it was very expensive. I needed a new water pump, a new oil pump amongst other bits and pieces. I'm under absolutely no illusion as to how much original BMW parts cost so I certainly wasn't expecting a cheap fix up. It was certainly a dent in my finances, I weighed it up and decided to go ahead with the repairs. I do not regret it for a second. It has been nearly 8 months now since IAUTO first took on my challenge of finding the problems that 5 other garages couldn't, and curing my car, and my car is running well all this time. The cost of my repair did not change from original quote, there was no faffing about and addings on... all straight from day one. I had numerous encounters with the various mechanics that were tasked with working on my vehicle, every one of them, polite, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable. On one occasion my vehicle had to be parked a fair distance away as parking is an absolute premium in that area, I'm a lone female and absolutely not comfortable in Croydon on my own, one of the lovely mechanics walked with me and stayed with me until I was safely in my car and away. You don't get this sort of care at Kwikfit!! Overall, a very competent, honest and transparent garage. Actually a very rare find. I would 100% recommend. In fact I have since been back for brakes etc and again, a no fault experience and conscientiousness all the way.

Faith in mechanics restored I just want to give Karim and his team a massive thanks for an incredible service. I was recommended over a year ago by family friends. However, I still went to mechanics I was familiar with. Thank goodness I now see sense and have switched to KNS Moter! As a woman I felt treated fairly, communication and prices were very transparent also. I believed this garage to be excellent . They service my BMW X5 Hybrid. All seems OK sadly when entering details of service to cars computer the young lad put last service year as 2022 not 2021. After bring car back twice they have not sorted the date of service. Which may lower the value of my £40 K car. I do believe in giving any company the opportunity to sort and hope they will. Hence 3 stars which I will change to 5 when correct date done. Correct date now done so 5 stars. To be fair the garage had staff off with covid. The Owner Martin sorted the problem. I very much like this is a local company and they train young people and give them a skill set. I have read other reviews the negative ones seem to come for people who can not articulate/ communicate what they actually want. I would suggest write down what you require. Finally if you want to over pay go to BMW and get a zero personal service and a massive bill.
