Taken my car to Halfords for many years. Had a free brake check today, whilst I was there they checked all my tyres and lights. Everything came back okay and as usual was very impressed with the service. Also while I was there I was impressed with how professionally the team on reception handled the two most annoying Karen’s I have ever witnessed🙈 They were complaining about parts that needed changing when the staff member even provided all the old parts for them to see with all the measurements to show that they were worn out. I have to stop myself from laughing when it was clear that everything the garage had done was clearly correct. Yet the Karen’s picking up their Citroen C1 seemed to continue to strop and tantrum. What you get here is a mechanic who will look for opportunities to save you money and work carried out thoroughly at as cheap as you can get. Been using this garage for years, started taking on MOT,'s and their associated works recently which helps me from having to go elsewhere. Getting a wassap video outlining what was done and a general condition report of my car and van is a nice touch and provides assurance. Did the mot on my van and all the advisory work in the same day. Bodywork lad is brilliant and is probably the best in Huddersfield at this price point. He's a magician when it comes to repairing parts which other garages have refused to repair and insisted on new ones which saved me a fortune. Repaired and painted a full side on a scirroco at a 1/4 of the price what other bodyshops wanted to charge. Probably best you physically visit to book in as they don't answer the phone often.

I booked an appointment. Took my car in on the day and they put it straight on the lift, no fuss at all. Which was crazy because when I called to see how it was going, it turned out I'd accidentally booked in somewhere else! I didn't get my car fixed that day, but I got a the check and decent quote and they didn't ask for anything to do it - even though I didn't have an appointment. I'm really precious about my car & leaving it for work, i was due a timing belt change and a friend recommended Alfa Tech as he said they specialise more so in Alfa/Abarth. Called up a week ago, friendly staff and they booked me in for the following week and told me how much it would cost. I was so impressed with the price, the lads didn't try rip me off and didn't sound like they were just trying to get as much money for the job. Dropped the car off at 8:30am and it was ready around 2pm. When i picked it up, the lad who had been working on it said he previously owned one of the Abarths, he stamped my service book to show what was changed & mileage. He also showed me the old parts and explained how to tell when it needed replacing (just for my own knowledge which was interesting). They also said that they had done all the checks before telling me it was ready and explained to me just to keep an eye on water levels & such, but should be perfect. The garage was so clean, the lad i dealt with seemed really clued up, really seemed to know what he was on about and i felt I'd really left my car in great hands. I will 100% be using these guys going forward, all staff i spoke to gave me the impression that they were really experienced mechanics. Car felt great to drive home, probably a placebo effect as it was just timing belt change. But felt like the engine was working smoothly and as it should. Thanks guys at Alfa Tech.

Amazing garage. I had work done on my car which was in limp mode as it had a crankshaft sensor fault. Unfortunately, the garage replaced the crankshaft sensor but this still did not fix my car. I took it back and they had another look and let me know that if could potentially be a small fix but it could also end up costing an awful lot of money. I went to a volkswagen specialist for their opinion and they believed the part they fitted may not be genuine but the garage was determined it definitely is a genuine part. I am looking to get rid of my car now as I do not want to pay more money into it with the high mileage it has but I have to say this garage dealt with me extremely professionally and honestly, they even drove my car so they could try and understand the issue. I was happy with the service and would highly recommend this garage.

The staff there were incredibly friendly, professional and efficient. They let us stay in their office as their customer hub was under renovations. Their service was efficient, friendly and very reasonably priced. In particular the owner was very welcoming and sympathetic, and the receptionist Emily made sure we were comfortable and kept up to date on what was happening. Being in their office also meant we heard and saw a lot of the interactions between staff and phone calls to customers and suppliers. These were all conducted with an impressive professional manner. I was very impressed, they really saved my skin in a difficult situation. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
