Convenient, communicative, cost effective - first time user but open to using again.
Needed to book an MOT at very short notice. Came across Fixter for the first time and really appreciated the pick up service offered for the car. While the friendly mechanic from the garage picked it up, that was the end of the good news as my wheezy old wheels predictably failed the MOT. Cue the wallet heartburn as the myriad problems get an associated climbing list of repairs and diagnostics needed. However Fixter were very prompt in keeping me updated at every stage of this process by text, email and phone, not proceeding with any work without my go ahead. Their customer care personnel were very responsive over phone, with next to no waiting times and very promptly picking up my case with little prompting on my part. Though it took 2 days longer than I expected, when the car was duly returned to me, I have to admit I was left ruing why I didn't get these changes done earlier as it feels like a totally different car - for the better!
Overall a very satisfactory first time using the platform. They were communicative, chose a reliable garage that have done an evidently good job, and it seems at a cursory glance offered a competitive price for all the various works done.

So glad I came across Fixter, they make things so simple and easy, stress free.This is the second time I have used them and both times I have been more than impressed.
I needed a new auxiliary belt for my Renault Capture and when I call Renault (Martins Basingstoke) they quoted me £520!! Fixter charged me £62.50 plus they collected the car from my home and delivered it back the same day.Incredible price difference.
