Extremely professional, passionate and had an attention detail!!!! Was shown and talked through everything about the job and ended up getting haldex and rear diff serviced whilst there. Well worth trip down south!!!! Was given free courtesy car which was great 👍 Would highly recommend 👌👍Andy and Sam were spot on 👍 👌
My car MOT was looming and I needed somewhere that offered Payment Assist in case it was expensive. T&G is local to me so phoned and was offered advice and options. Although they were booked up until after my MOT expiry I went with them. I'd forgotten everything that Sam had suggested previously yet they still got me in and luckily the repairs weren't as expensive as first thought. Mechanic even made a bracket for exhaust to get car finished so I could be back on the road. They could have fleeced me on one job but were honest that a cable wasn't connected. All at an affordable price without having to use Payment Assist. Excellent customer service, honest and reliable. Even offered me a (manual)courtesy car but due to dodgy knees I didn't use. Will definitely be using again for my car's needs.
I spent a number of nights on Google looking for a garage that had great reviews. I stumble on T&G and went to see them before booking in my car. I was quite take aback how helpful Sam and Andy were, just incredible in this day and age. I booked my car in for a number of things, suspension swap/oil and filter and new tyres. What a fantastic job they did. Communication across the two days was excellent and the recap of works completed by Andy on picking the car up you couldn't wish for more. Sum up...good communication, do as they say and great value for money. Thanks
Had a noise coming from my RS3 and expected the worse thinking it was the dreaded transfer box. Done my research and t&g automotive was highly recommended online so travelled 4 and a half hours from Glasgow to get it looked at. Straight away they diagnosed it as a wheel bearing and thankfully the transfer box was fine. They also carried out a load of other services such as DSG which I had only just done just over a month ago by a different garage but on closer inspection it looked like it hadn’t been carried out and sure enough the oil was black. All the work carried out within the day and even had the bonus of a courtesy car to go to the shops while the car was being worked on. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, extremely knowledgable team and wouldn’t hesitate to drive another 4 & a half hours to t&g automotive in the future as I know the car would be in good hands.
Had a bearing noise so gave T&G a call and got booked in. They took it on a road test to diagnose and confirmed it with the stethoscope. Turned out to be rear wheel bearing and transfer bearing. Andy dismantled it and showed the damage to the bearing. They had parts in stock and replaced with the uprated bearings I had recently serviced the transfer box but when Andy drained the oil he showed me how black it was so don't even know if previous specialist changed it. He also saw the transfer box heat shield was missing and ordered this in and changed it complimentary. They provided courtesy car for the day so went out to the outlet park nearby. 100% recommend them and their quality of work. Customer service was 11/10
