Firstly, I trust this garage completely and will continue to use them for as long as they exist. I used to use this garage years ago and did so for for many years but naively started using a cheaper garage belonging to someone known through mutual acquaintances. I had the most negative experience with said other garage, lasting over 8 months, with my car left to rot for said amount of months and additional issues caused, totalling thousands of pounds. As such, I was unnerved and untrusting so went back to Stars to have some further issues rectified. The ladies on the front desk (can't remember names - I'm sorry) were so so lovely and remembered me from years ago. Dave, the mechanic, tolerated me ringing numerous times over the days it was in, explaining everything every step of the way. Everyone was so polite and lovely and made time for me and the job was done quickly despite it being squeezed in, between their super busy schedule, as it was going to initially be dropped off as a recovery job. Yes, it is a bit more expensive compared to some garages I've been to but you get what you pay for and I'd rather spend more money getting the job done correctly and professionally without the financial stress of rectifying other badly done work. I have nothing but praise for this garage. Absolutely lovely bunch of people.
We used these guys for a full service, cambelt change and drive belt change on our motorhome. Found everyone to be extremely helpful, friendly and professional from start to finish. They went above and beyond, even getting the work done earlier than expected in order to avoid us having to book a hotel! All at a reasonable cost. Will definitely be using these guys for any future work. Thanks again!
Having broken down on the motorway, Stars were more than happy for me to be recovered to them. They couldn't guarantee vehicle to be fixed the same day but would do their best depending on the problem. Having organised onward travel, they allowed me to sit in their reception until the courtesy car arrived. The ladies in reception, very friendly and a special mention to Dee (hope I got that right) for her concern of me having broken down on the motorway. Highly recommend this garage 👌
