I discovered him randomly through my car insurance app, having had numerous less than good experiences with a garage much closer to where I live. I took a chance on Mike and Sphynx Vehicle Repairs after reading so many other glowing reviews and I am so glad I did. Mike does not only come across as a very honest, hardworking and incredibly knowledgeable mechanic but he’s also a really nice bloke that I enjoy having a chat with! Mike takes the time to actually talk you through what the issues are and provides really solid advice. His work on my Honda to date has been absolutely first class. I am so glad I found Mike, he has made my life that much easier and I will be sticking with him for as long as I live and/or have a car! (I’ve included one picture, sent to me by Mike; this is my brake discs before and after Mike sorted them out. You can see how good Mike is at what he does, but also that he takes the time to actually explain to you what he’s doing. Outstanding)
Mike is a reliable and trustworthy perfectionist! Took on my car when it was really a write off as I had two holes in the engine block! He kept me in the picture sending photos of all updated work until completion. Mike was also able to solve a problem that I had with water ingress and I now have my precious car back as good as new! I'm very happy to recommend Mike, a brilliant mechanic and a lovely gentleman. THANKYOU!
I took my car into see Micky due to having a potential issue with the Nox sensors on my E-Class as I was not happy with the amount the main dealer wanted just to look at it! Micky was familiar with the issue and had the car repaired, MOT'd and back on the road in good time and at a competitive price. Micky also kept me updated whilst he had my car which was nice touch. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service and repair and would highly recommend Micky and will be certainly using him again should I need any further repairs in the future.
Superstar Mike worked on my car Saturday and Sunday. Explained everything , gave me options and was helpful and friendly. Great to find such a decent mechanic. Will def use again if I need a mechanic in east London
Mike is really a one man army! Really happy with the service. Excellent customer service and great value for money. I went to Sphynx garage to fix my engine oil leak which is now fixed and very happy with the results. Mike also showed me pictures of engine before the work and showed me faulty and replaced parts which I thought was very helpful to understand what work was done.
