Communicated clearly about my issue. ABS sensor needed replacing. Sensor itself was a little more than expected but confirmed that it was just a quirk of the polo model that it was a little pricier for that sensor. Fair pricing and job well done. Issue occurred on a Saturday, they had time to take a look as I called in advance. Car part only available by Monday but had car back ready to go by Monday afternoon. About as quick a turnaround as can be expected with car parts stores not being open over the weekend.
Car repair and MOT work, professional handling, speed of work, accurate diagnosis, and the best spare parts. The workers are also very friendly. I always provide my car with regular maintenance, as well as sudden repairs and annual inspections. Near the city center. Appointment can be booked by phone.
Great local business and well worth supporting to keep them. The They are especially good because they don't have long waiting times for MOTs and can sometimes fit you in on short notice if you let them know that you are local and available (even if the online MOT availability search engines say there is nothing available anywhere else for weeks!) Their mechanical advice (following a MOT) is very good and was corroborated independently by French and Italian Cars mechanic on Cowley Rd. The staff were great. Excellent customer service over the phone and in person. Also really considerate that I had a baby with me and that I would want he car back from the MOT quickly and positioned in such a way that I could get to the car seat easily.
Stopped by on a Sat morning without an appointment as some debris had just hit my car on the M40 and wanted to make sure it was safe to drive home. They fit me in straight away and were very helpful and lovely and made sure I was safe to get home. Seemed very knowledgable and would highly recommend. Would use regularly if I lived closer. Thank you!
