I moved to Ely 10 years ago and needed a mechanic I called Kevin a bit worried as he was new to me but I must say out of all my years of motoring he is the best I have ever used!! Over the years of knowing him he is more now like a mate easy to speak and work with as he always gives you it straight and charges you for what is needed he won't replace something or rip you off which what makes a good garage. I have had many cars from Audi, BMW, Mustangs, Fords you name it I've had it and he has never failed to repair it from a simple service to a few engine rebuilds and head gaskets, I would never go anywhere else even though he is 27 miles from me! If you need something doing call him it shows he is good as sometimes he may not answer but he will always get back too you, Thanks Kevin for all your hard work and the last repair, Oh Kev a few memories from the past cars. Took my car to Kevin, as needed component protection added to a new radar and had some problems with coding. He was able to fit me in to have the coding done. Always busy, but that says one thing about a garage good reputation.
Broke down away from home, Thankfully came across kevin and his garage, great service/price. Able to fix my car within a few days. Great communication and work throughout. Would highly recommend this business
While I’ve been in Bury St Edmunds for the 3 years that I have, I’ve used KMAC. I had my catalytic converter stolen by thieves and they replaced it for and repaired the exhaust pipe that was damaged during the theft. They’ve done every one of my MOTs and all the repairs that go along with them for a good price and fair timing. Kevin the owner has always been a pleasure to do business with, great with responding; if he doesn’t pick up he’s probably busy with a customer in the shop. My girlfriend was quoted £1,500 for some damage to the body of her car but Kevin fixed it for £600. Seriously, amazing work.
I took my Audi to KMAC because I wanted an Audi specialist in Bury and did not want to pay main dealer prices. They are very friendly and do quality work at a much better price than main dealer. I saved hundreds of pounds on replacing the rear suspension. They are very busy so you do need to be able to leave your car with them but it is worth the wait. Excellent customer service, I was kept updated with progress and expected costs.
