Late one evening the starter motor failed on my T5 camper, leaving me stranded 230 miles from home, and Recovery Insurance required I arrange a local repair. Phoned JR just after 8am next morning and got a really positive response. Graham called back within 10 minutes with a quote and promise that the van would be fixed that day. The recovery company didn't get me to JR until 1145, I was back on the road by 1600. They have a very warm and comfortable reception area, everyone was super friendly. They turned what could have been a very uncomfortable and stressful day for my dog and I in the rain in an unfamilar town into a pleasantly memorable experience. Superb customer care and technical competence, and to top it all, very reasonable price. Thanks again Graham, Sara, it's a pity I'm based 230 miles away so it's not an option to engage your services in the future. From Molly the Collie. Thanks Graham for all the doggy biscuit treats. New to the area and needed some work done to my caddy, stopped in after passing numerous times. Very friendly and helpful family service, booked my car in and complete the work all within a couple of days. They diagnosed and sorted the problems easily, glad to have found a reliable and highly knowledgeable garage locally. Thanks again

Having read the reviews on line and having been let down by previous garages in the past I booked my car in with JR Volkswagen my car has been transformed the work was carried out quickly and I was kept informed throughout the repair I know nothing about cars and everything was explained to me Greame was very helpful and I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his garage
Great vw specialist..very knowledgeable and pleasure to deal with..keep you updated on any work and very reasonable prices..would highly recommend this garage..very honest and reliable
