Took my Vw Tiguan to Shrewsbury Halfords autocentre with clutch problems. It turned out that my clutch master cylinder needed replacing. On replacement the malfunctioning cylinder was found to be clogged with gunge rather than fluid. Afterwards they bled the whole clutch and brake fluid more than once to get rid of all the dirt and filth that had accumulated over the years. It now drives like new. My car had done 87000 miles and during the 7 years I’d had it from new i had taken it to main dealers for all service and maintenance including brakes, but it seems that they had ignored a basic requirement of maintenance and professionalism. Well never again ! Halfords at Shrewsbury autocentre have been ultra professional, extremely helpful, pleasant and cheerful, Not only that, I have saved several hundreds of pounds. Great friendly smile yo greet me. They can get me the tyre I need at reasonable, just been to Kwikfit. They have none of that tyre in stock anywhere in the country. Booked in for Monday.
