Usual chain super-garage had no diagnostician available and I panicked before remembering a friend recommend Crane Bank Garages. I called at 8.20am and Sarah was both pleasant and helpful. She spoke to the mechanics who agreed to take a look and 30 minutes later they had the car. Call just after lunch to confirm the diagnosis and plan of action, and agreed a price. Call at 16.15 from Sarah to confirm the work was completed and the car could be collected. Car happy (and cleaned - great little extra, thanks!), I'm happy, Crane Bank are happy they've got a happy customer and have been paid. All round happy, made even better when I was presented with a tin of (forgive the naming, for nostalgia) 'travel sweets' and away I drove. Great service (with that extra mile), friendly and knowledgeable staff. What more can you ask for? Won't be using the chain garage again!
I recently took my car to Crane Bank Garage after my car belt snapped, and I also needed a replacement for the power steering pump. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. The team quickly diagnosed the problem and explained everything in detail, offering a clear and fair estimate. The repair was done efficiently, and my car is now running as good as new. The staff were friendly, professional, and made sure to answer all my questions. It’s refreshing to find a garage that values customer satisfaction as much as they do quality work. I’ll definitely be back for future repairs and highly recommend them to anyone in need of trustworthy, reliable service!
Wow...An outstanding garage with fantastic staff! My car developed a fault, and I urgently needed it fixed before my weekend trip. Even though it was Thursday and I was leaving on Saturday, Crane Bank went out of their way to fit me into their busy schedule. They even provided a courtesy car for me to use. As a bonus, they cleaned my car, making it look as good as new. I truly appreciate the professionalism and excellent service they provided. I will definitely use their services again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Thank you once more!
I feel awful leaving this review so late (MOT and repairs in September 2024 - Blue Clio) but wow, what a wonderful workshop. The man I liaised with most often (John? So sorry I can't remember) was empathetic of my woes with a nearby "other" garage who had tried to charge over double the expected rate, and made sure I was charged correctly this time. On top of that, and without expecting thanks, they left a little goodie-bag on the passenger seat that consisted of a mug and some tea and coffee! Best service from a car mechanic/workshop yet. Will be going back for all service and repair needs!
Hi had car in for MOT yesterday and the service and staff were extremely helpful and did an excellent job of sorting out the one fault on my car👍 Would recommend this garage to anyone as the service and work they do is top class and the staff are amazing all the best keep up the good work
