We have owned one of the original BMW Mini Cooper 's from new, and we have used local garages for regular services and repairs but have been left disheartened by poor work often by technicians with a generalistic knowledge of vehicles. After much research we found Burch Motor Works and visited them to discuss the economic viability of keeping the vehicle. From the outset the service desk knowledge and interest was amazing, while we had to wait a while for the appointment, it was more than worth it; two issues raised by the previous garages recommended an oil pump replacement and undertook a body management system replacement. The team at Burch Motors identified that the oil light/pump issue was a result of a non-BMW Mini part being incorrectly fitted and the original body management unit was refitted and calibrated and both issues have been resolved. There are many previous reviews that compliment the services provided here at Burch Motor Works, and we fully understand why and we cannot recommend them enough. They are now our go-to for our mini.
I have used Burch Motorworks a number of times now. Always consistent with the level of service and friendliness which is sadly lacking in this sector with so many businesses. Brilliant husband and wife team and such a helpful and knowledgable service manager. You just won’t find better. They are always busy and you will most likely need to wait for booking work but this is reassuring. That said, last night I had my car security compromised with my remote key. John squeezed me in between jobs today and I was so worried and they have put my mind at rest and reprogrammed my key and my car and supplied a new coded key for a very sensible price. I am over the moon and my car is secure again. Many garages could learn a thing or two from here. Perfect 👌🏼
Superb specialist garage on all things BMW. I had major issues with the car from a piston, gasket and numerous other neglected issues. All fixed within a week, upgraded my software and the BMW dealerships in London aren't a patch on this excellent business. They're straight to the point on locating issues, polite, friendly and extremely reasonable. I willingly drive 300+ miles to take it to John and his team.
M135i LCI in for a major service with spark plugs & charge pipe upgrade, all done within one day, outstanding paperwork detail in regards to what was carried out. Customer service from Jon & Charlene beforehand & on the day was first class. I shall be returning 100%. Brilliant job guys n gals, thank you very much, the car is purring.
Had Walnut-blast on my BMW X5 E70, great service with excellent communication. A few complications with the job, but the guys at Burch Motors sorted it all out for me at no extra charge! Thank you all.
