Went home to install it back into the car and she started on the button. Very pleased and would use the shop again in future. As my father said it's great to see repair shops like this still around doing great work!
This place is a total gem of a find through Google! Drove from Peckham to their shop and was greeted by Alex who is a real credit to the business by the way! Couldn't fault his willingness to want to help and rectify my concerns and problem with my car! Alex ran a few tests on my alternator and I felt the attention to detail. Alternator came up with a fault so I bought a brand new alternator to get put in, to cut an even longer story short, cars have their own minds and the fault seem to sorted it self out after more extensively checks from another garage so sadly didn't end up needing to use the brand new alternator as I had faith in buying from Alex and the business and faith in what I was sold! I didn't end up having to remove the one from the start to my frustration! Drove back to Bexley from Peckham and again greeted by Alex and updated him on my situation and with real class, understanding and professionalism alright I was still within my 30 days be it a couple of days and a day before Christmas eve, with Alex and the business integrity I was given back a full refund. Manners and respect always and I wish 2025 is a healthy and happy one for you Alex and all and the business too!

Rebuilt a vintage dynamo for my 1959 Ford Skyliner. Fast and professional service, looked and worked like new when done. Highly recommend Bexley Starters and Alternators.
Phoned them for help on an alternator for a Fiat 1.9td. 1999 Motorhome. They had one in stock. Tried phoning 14 others for it to no avail and I was starting to give up as the phone call and travel radius was becoming quite large… 😀Got into 🚘 car and drove there wondering if I would be that lucky - I was. Got a replacement new alternator at a very good price so I’m pleased to write this review.👍 Thank you Bexley Starters & Alternators. Good service with a stock to match.👏👏👏
