Also maintained clear lines of communication with me. In addition to the excellent service provided, I dropped a fiver without realising, and it was brought to my attention immediately. At this garage, you get what you paid for. Don’t get fooled by garages offering discounted prices on MOT & servicing because they will try to get you on the repairs. I certainly recommend this garage and I will be doing the same to my friends or anyone that asks me.

Booked on the phone to solve an undiagnosed cooling issue, answered all nagging questions without complaint. Great service, promptly saw to my vehicle and showed clearly what the issue was and how it was solved. You won’t find a friendlier mechanic in Cardiff!! PS - road on the way is a bit bumpy so take care!
I have been taking my car to 1st Stop MOT for about 4 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. My family also take their cars there. Mark has always been very polite and professional. He carries out the work to a high standard and is reasonably priced. I have always found Mark to be honest and trustworthy and he has integrity which is really important. You can rely on him to do the work that needs doing but he will not try to convince you to have unnecessary work done. He is always willing to give advice and I have contacted him at short notice on more than one occasion when I have had a problem with my car, and he has always been accommodating. I would highly recommend this small business.
Recently had an mot and I accidentally gave Marc an extra £20 but as soon as he realised my mistake Marc immediately gave the money back. Really pleased with the honesty! Will highly recommend 1st stop to anybody for all mechanical needs.
