It was easy to book in, somebody came to collect the car from my house for free and dropped it back within two hours. The price was really reasonable service outstanding highly recommend

I was slightly annoyed that they let me book an appointment for 2 days time, then immediately cancelled and offered a booking in 3 weeks. However, this was over the Xmas period and better than other local garages. One the actually day I was really happy with their communication and customer service. I will definitely be using again and recommending. I loved the clear pricing structure

A guy collected my car…
The guy collected my car around 10.30 (slightly later than expected but traffic was heavy). Was told it maybe closer to 7pm when it would return.(Despite being texted earlier in day saying it would before.) By 8pm there was no sign and no one to get in touch with!!
Panic started rising. Had I been had or something similar?
At 9pm the door bell went - expecting the worst, I was surprised to find the guy from earlier looking for somewhere to put car keys. Relief!!
Driver apologised over the lateness blaming too much work. At least the car had its service and passed its MOT.
So we're good to go.... 👍🏻
But next time a phone call would be appreciated be if you're going to be late!

Good value and fairly straightforward
Communications from the garage were polite and straightforward. I’d originally requested the pickup from 9.30 to 11, but when the garage phoned to confirm, they initially wanted it at 8.30. However, we negotiated after 9pm, but he turned up a bit after 9.30 anyway. They sent a text message to say my car had failed due to needing a front spring replaced – if I want them to go ahead with their quote, click here. I did and paid on line, something I am normally very cagey about doing.
With some other garages for an MOT / Service, you get a visual or video of the problem, but nothing on this occasion. How do I know the part really needed replacing? I have to take their word.
The main attraction of Fixter was the pickup and return service and a good price. I was supposed to be informed as to which garage would be carrying out the work, but the update of the booking confirmation didn’t include that. The implication was that someone from Fixter would be doing the driving for the pickup and return, but it was someone from the garage. So will I use them next year? I’m not sure.

Can't fault, booking online which was mega easy and they kept me up to date with everything such as assigning a garage, I called to change the collection address the day before and was absolutely fine. Picked car up and was notified throughout the time they had it, passed MOT with no additional work, delivered car back to me with no problems
