from 142 reviews on GoogleI’ve been over to WG Motorworks a couple of times now, the first time was back in 2022 when I had my Corsa D VXR M32 Gearbox repaired and the August 2024 for Big brake conversion, Air tech Intercooler, Hel Braided brake hoses, Cam Belt & Water Pump Kit, Forge Recirc Valve, Whiteline Adjustable Drop Links, KW V2 Coilovers & Piper Cat Back Exhaust System Resonated. Although there was some issues with some of the parts which held everything up being done with added stress of our family holiday coming up, Warren & everyone else still managed to get everything done and all sorted well before I was due to go on holiday. Can’t recommend WG Motorworks enough very professional friendly and go above and beyond and their work is outstanding. Do only thing I wished is that I was sent some pictures of the work being done while they was doing it, but I understand from a business point of view that this is not always possible. Definitely will be using WG Motorworks again in the future. Thanks guys. Jamie
*18th September 2024 Update* Absolutely Fantastic Service from Warren again. Clutch was Failing on my VXR. So had a WG Motorworks Stage 1 Clutch, Flywheel and release bearing fitted. Squeaking sound Identified as aux belt and tensioner and arranged to be replaced. Also Frint crank seal replaced and exhaust bracket repaired. Warren works very efficiently and we arranged a time to meet in the morning to get fixed. All the work is done to an incredibly high standard and he test drove the car to make sure everything was perfect. Car feels brand new. Highly recommended for anyone with a VXR or BMW. 👍👍👍 *26th October 2022 Update:* Arranged a Main Service with gearbox oil and brake fluid change, MOT and Induction Kit. Booking and deposit paid via email and website. Excellent service as always from Warren. It really is the best place to get a personal one on one with the garage and car. Plenty of advice given and his knowledge of the car is outstanding. Time and care is taken and no job is rushed. Service: Excellent Recommend: Highly *November 2021* I found out about this place via Forums of the car I own. They recommended WG Motorworks so I contacted via their website. I spoke with Warren via email. He gave me exact prices and what he could offer and then to book a date. Do not expect next day as they are booked up in advanced and you can see why. You have to pay deposit online for the booking so they know you are serious and not wasting their time with a no show. Once I arrived, plenty of parking and met by Warren. He told me exactly what he was going to do, Short shift and gearbox oil etc.There is a nice waiting area upstairs with TV, drinks and seating. Also some nice Performance cars also having work done so can look at those. Once complete I was shown what was done, advised what they could offer in future and how to maintain certain things going forward. One of the best garages out there for certain so you can see why it is busy and you can tell the owners really care and enjoy what they do and they really know their stuff about performance cars and getting the best out of them. I came from France to have my M32 gearbox serviced. There's a waiting room upstairs with a PS3 and wifi, the owner is very friendly and was kind enough to let me watch a good part of the process. Bearings are replaced but also eventually worn parts. Left about 4 hours later with a whole new feeling behind the wheel and a smile on my face. Definitely worth the trip.
WG Motorworks are just simply amazing. Had my Astra Sportive XP in for a m32 gearbox upgrade, new clutch and some bushes and lower arms replaced. Warren said all works could be completed in one day as I was travelling from a distance away. Turned up at 8am and works started and I relaxed in the waiting area. If you could have seen my van at 1pm in hundreds of bits you would have never thought it was possible to get everything done! Warren was true to his word because 5:30pm on a Friday evening my van was ready to go, no gearbox noises and felt like a new motor. Warren and his team worked tirelessly and I can’t thank them enough for their efforts and expertise. They also had other vehicles in that day having bits done and heaven only knows how they got through everything. If you need specialist works done WG motor works are the best by a country mile. Thank you so so much for all of your help with my Astra .
Always been a pleasure having Warren working on my cars, engine conversions, home brew turbo kits, installation of limited slip diffs, drive shafts, bearings & remaps. A professional job done 100% of the time Not many people I trust working on ny cars, wouldn't hesitate recommending WG to anyone 👍🏻
