from 51 reviews on Google*******************************************Update - 3 months on - No issues Since work was done on the car. ***************************************Update - 1 month on - Had no issues with car since work has been done. Usually i would have identified an issue by now , especially with main dashboard reading faulty gearbox , with flashing sport & snow signs & a change in car going into limp mode. But car still running as normal with no issues ************************************** Fred instantly knew what troubles I was having with my automatic Peugeot 308 2008, after asking him could he tell me what’s the common problem with these cars has he seen over the years. He told me everything what my car has been doing on and off for months. Sometimes a fault on the car dashboard will suddenly jolt in to a lower gear (goes into limp home mode) with a fault stating “faulty gearbox” with the snow & sport signs flashing. Usually this would be cleared of screen when you switch off and switch on the engine. Sometimes it would last a few days or few weeks before it would happen again. I did do some research before phoning around and became to know the issue could be rectified by changing the solenoid valves and the ATF. Fred potentially knew what the issue was when I phoned and was confirmed by a fault that showed on diagnostic conducted by mick. I also received a courtesy car a Vauxhall Astra 2008 while my car was being fixed. I had booked my car in at 8am Monday morning and the job was done by 1pm the same day. Fred had stated he had all parts available for the job so it wouldn’t take all day to do. Fred & Mick are a nice team and came across professional & knowledgable with any queries I had. I had phoned around on a rough estimate elsewhere and was quoted a lot more. If I had taken it to Peugeot they would have sent the car out to a automatic gearbox specialist anyway. I was given a 1yr warranty which gave me some comfort that they can be confident in their work. Fred AKA handsome & Mick aka ugly lol 😆 (personal joke) was the only people from all my phone call of enquires to know what the issue was with my car. Thanks Gents Jen (prego lady) from Abram
Had my mercedes autobox serviced by these chaps. Definitely recommend them. Rang up on the Tuesday afternoon to explain that my gearbox felt not right. Booked me in the next morning. When I got there they explained and showed me what could be wrong. Did the service , at a very reasonable price. 2 hours all done. Feels brand new again. Fantastic service from really nice people. Highly recommended.
