Very helpful Called during lunch time, having been to veh main dealer, with a red engine light on my dash. Let me finish this he said, motioning to the chicken drumstick in his hand, and I will put a diagnostic check over it. Half hour later I was on my way with an easy mind that all was well and some good advice on how best to drive my particular car All at very reasonable price Thank you 😊
My daughter was the recipient of first class, attentive and friendly service here today when she arrived at the garage in quite a distressed state with a problem with her VW Golf. She had just completed several nights of A&E shifts and was absolutely exhausted.The garage owner, Les, calmed her down and provided immediate assistance to repair the car and make it roadworthy. We are both extremely appreciative of the 5* service which she received in fixing the problem. She will in future use this garage for her car maintenance and any repair requirements. I would like to recommend Swingbridge garage Gateshead. I've been using The garage for 6 years now. Mot. Service plus I've bought used cars. I usually deal with Mark. A top bloke with a wealth of knowledge. I won't take my cars anywhere else. I've recommended many of my friends. Always been happy and grateful for my referral
A proper independent garage. I had an issue with my car that another garage told me would have to go back to the dealers. I rang swing bridge and spoke to Mark. Turns out he’s one of the mechanics there, it was great to speak to the person who would be looking at my car. I explained the fault, he asked me to take the car down. He cane out on road test, told me what he thought was wrong. I booked the car in for the following week. Swing bridge quoted me a price to do the work and recommended while they were stripping the car down some other bits could be changed too which might save doing a similar job again. As they would have the bits off anyway, fitting the new parts would cost no more than the price of the parts! I felt like I had a much better job done where I was consulted first rather than ripped off by the dealer. When I went down to collect the car, Trevor another one of the guys down there couldn’t have been more helpful. I can’t recommend enough, a truly professional service with genuine staff who don’t try to rip you off. Thanks again guys.
