However, there had been hints of unprofessionalism and a sense that they were suggesting endless, unnecessary work. So, I decided to seek a second opinion and visited St Andrew Road’s garage, based on a glowing recommendation from a friend. I’m so glad I did! Stuart and his team were exceptionally professional, accommodating, and honest. The MOT and interim service were completely hassle-free, and I was reassured that my car was in good working order. Deep down, I knew my car worked fine, but the previous garage had suggested unnecessary replacements, leaving me with lingering doubts. As an example of their professionalism and commitment to going the extra mile, Stuart noticed that my car key wasn’t working properly. He had the battery replaced, the car key reprogrammed, and charged me a fraction of what my car dealer would have. I will definitely return next year, and I’m already looking forward to meeting these lovely people again!
First class service…..my daughter’s Astra was looked at by St Andrews Road garage today due to an intermittent clutch issue. We received some sound advice from the completely genuine, helpful staff along with an assessment of the car ready for its MOT in March. Unlike some other garages I have dealt with over the years who seem to do work which isn’t always necessary, I trust this garage to be honest & reliable. I have no affiliation to St Andrews Road garage but an happy to recommend their services…
Really great garage and I will definitely be coming back. They booked me in quickly, had a super quick turn around and for a very reasonable price. They were also really great answering any questions I had which I appreciate because I ask a lot of questions! Thanks so much
They provided an excellent and prompt service for a very reasonable price when I booked an MOT a few months ago. On a separate occasion, I dropped off my car when the driver's side door handle hadn't been working for weeks, only for the problem to vanish as soon as it got to the garage. They notified me instantly and didn't charge me. They've clearly got the magic touch!
I've been to a lot of garages over the years, and this one stands out as one of the best! The team here is not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely honest and straightforward, which can be rare to find in the car repair world. They took the time to explain exactly what my car needed and didn't push for any unnecessary repairs or costs. They worked efficiently, kept me updated, and made sure I understood the breakdown of costs before proceeding. I really appreciated their transparency and willingness to answer my questions in detail. It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in doing quality work. They were understanding that I had my children with me, and didn't make us wait any longer than needed. Highly recommend this garage to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and knowledgeable service. I'll definitely be coming back!
