Wanted to give the car a good once over having purchased 6 months ago and getting geo properly sorted after recently having 4 new tyres fitted made perfect sense. Having spoken with Matt he has set the car up for fast road and occasional track use. Even on the short trip home it felt like a different car. Feels better balanced and more predictable. Thanks Matt!
I brought my car to Matt after hearing great things about Spires as I was experiencing inconsistent steering feel and the car pulling to the left. Matt worked his magic and was able to find the issue and the difference is night and day. Matt was super friendly and explained everything as he went along. I will definitely be using Spires again in the future. Thank you.
2016 BMW F30 setup by Spires. What a transformation! It’s not so much an alignment but a tailored setup. It’s surprising how much BMW leave on the table at the factory in terms of optimisation. This is where Matt’s experience shines over sticking to the factory settings 👍🏼 Inbound journey = meh. Outbound journey = 👌🏼 Cornering and straight line stability both substantially improved! Typically both of my tie rods were seized solid, which nearly ended the appointment right there. Not what you want after a 2.5 hour journey! But Matt patiently let me pop down to the dealer to get a new pair and he duly fitted them and carried on with the alignment. Legend! 👍🏼 Highly recommended!
Just arrived home VERY happy after visiting Matt with my Fiesta ST. I’ve spent months trying to get some major alignment issues sorted, visiting cheap alignment places and getting mechanicals checked. After a 1.5 hour session and very well earned £150, Matt found the issue with the alignment of the rear beam (that no one else even bothered checking/touching, and to be fair even I thought couldn’t be adjusted). Car now drives dead straight and handles properly for the first time since I’ve owned it over the past 6 months. Couldn’t be happier! Also worth saying that Matt was very courteous about my slight apprehension bringing my chavmobile into his shop. “A car’s a car” he told me… nice, haha.
Another tweak for my A110, Life110 AST coil overs, fitted by Matt today. Great service as ever, and it’s always reassuring to have someone so knowledgeable working on your car.
