from 59 reviews on GoogleFirst time using Sam Autos. The customer service at this garage is first class. They fit me in at short notice. Carried a health check on my car. Diagnosed the problem straight away. Something which another garage with a big name struggled to do. Kept me informed via videos and pictures through WhatsApp, as well as a phone call throughout the day. I'm used to chasing garages for updates so this was a new experience. When they came to do the work, they realised there were additional issues and kept me informed throughout. Did not start any works without my authorisation. Completed the job on the day. Transparent throughout and great lads who went out of their way. Even sorted a parking sensor issue I had at no cost. Not a big job for them but definitely makes a difference to me. Complimentary car wash. Finally alerted me to any future issues that may arise. Will be my go to garage.
Very professional from start to finish. Booked me in straight away for M.O.T and service due to my awkward working hours they picked my car up and returned it out of hour! Created a WhatsApp group and kept me updated with videos of everything wrong with the car and totally transparent with costing before any work had been carried out so no surprising bills at the end. I think every garage should take a leaf out of there book, welldone lads you have new loyal customer!
Excellent service and really friendly guys! I was expecting to have my car back in a few days but they got the job done within a couple of hours! They also keep you updated on WhatsApp so you know what they’re doing with your car. Will definitely use Sam Autos in the future 👌🏽
Absolutely fantastic service never seen b4 and I dnt think I will at another garage.. keeps you posted what's wrong what need doing all well explained.. and after service unbelievable.. 5 stars all the way.. defo will come back for all my repairs
Hi all, ok so I don’t usually leave many reviews, but this one deserves a read. It’s long, detailed and honest. Hubby has already left a glowing reference for the same work that’s been done on our car, but I also think they deserve another due to the amount of effort and CARE this garage gives. So, hubby bought a car 3 week ago, 4 days after, lights are up on dash, damn typical when u buy a car and it’s got issues u didn’t know or expect. Let me also say hubby NEEDS his car daily to do runs to and from the station.. so to have issues with this car meant it would have consistently other ripple affect issues. I called them after trying for over a week to get help and all other garages said, “oh we can’t take this on at the moment” ”we’re too busy”, “bring it in and I’ll have a look at it” and when this garage (after I explained hubby is a firefighter and desperately needs a working car, they said, I could try and fit you in on Monday!!!!! Wow!!! The garage made a WhatsApp group for us all to be in for our car so all comms is easy to look back on, send invoices and general updates! THIS IS BRILLIANT! How many times do we take our car to a garage and they don’t keep us updated?? Always!! This is one step which think is fantastic! It helped us and made things 10 times easier. It started issue with air suspension and also glow plugs, - they got a codes and we figured it out to possibly be the valve block, and the cylinder 2 glow plugs- they also mentioned that the throttle peddle sensor may be a issue in the near future. We decided to change ALL plugs and also have a new valve block fitted. We hoped and prayed after all this work was done, (and buying a car which took nearly all our savings and now we’re dipping into household cash) that it would fix the issues. All seemed ok as no lights were on but we could feel the car acting as it wasn’t well. then, after a day or so, we had a few lights all come up at once and car went into even more of an issue and was litterlaly going at 3mph! So we called them up, they checked it over and told us, it could possibly be the throttle & sensor as they mentioned in the WhatsApp group but also from the diagnostics. So we dived further into investigating it and decided to get the “possibilities” all sorted and then it should clear the issues for sure. The garage yet again booked us in very quickly!!!!! In The early hours of the day (at 1am,) they had my car booked in, my family had a serious family emergency and it meant my hubby was at a hospital with our daughter and unable to take our car to the garage, so he spoke to them and explained the issue. They then said they could collect the car for us!!! And even one better, this mechanic/ (owner I think too) left us HIS CAR for us to use whilst we had none. So this lovely man knocked on and he collected the car and came in for us to give parts to him and I apologised for him coming out of his way and thanked him.. explained what has happened in the family and of course, I’ve been emotional all day and he saw this. He offered a gentle hug and said don’t worry about it. Kind words and from him. At 7pm that evening, we got a message saying all work they have done seems to of cleared the issues and car could be picked up at 730!!! As you can imagine, we were very happy to hear this and hoped that would be it for the issues and car was fully working…. And indeed it was. As a lot of you know, car issues can cause ripple effect issues in everything and me and my hubby have had some serious bad luck and this garage just seemed to understand, help and conquer! The team are exceptional. I cannot thank them enough and now because of all of the help, support and care they give, THEY NOW HAVE CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE! I refusing to take my cars anywhere else now. This is 100% a true and honest review. This garage is the best around and trust me we have used them all! I have shared my review on fb and family too! We appreciate you and thank you all at Sam’s garage!
