I had previously been told (by a bike repair shop) that it wasn’t possible or even worth it to repair a problem with my much loved old mountain bike. Steve collected, repaired and returned it within a couple of hours! A really great service at really good price - superb!

This is such a brilliant local service: I contacted Stephen and the next day he collected my bike, serviced it, cleaned it and returned it to me for the absolute bargain price of £25! It’s been running very smoothly since and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service to anyone. Stephen was professional and highly communicative throughout.
I have often found bicycle repairers difficult and unhelpful, so it was wonderful to discover Stephen's business and that it was in Lewes. His dedication and professionalism are extremely impressive and he is always keen to solve your problems. Unlike other businesses, he always tries to avoid fitting new parts and his prices are very reasonable. I shall always be grateful that he helped me at very short notice when I had gear problems on the evening before a very early start the next day. Stephen of Re-Cycles recently repaired a huge puncture. He did more than that - when he returned the repaired tyre he checked the brakes, cables, gear mechanisms, and while he was doing it , he calmly showed me what was what and explained the mechanisms and what I could actually do for myself on another occasion. It was also very reasonable price for the puncture repair. I would wholeheartedly recommend his service.
