Diamond grade honesty. Great customer service is hard to find but Prospect Solihull just set a new benchmark for others to aspire to. 17k miles ago a Mercedes dealership told me that my front and rear discs were ‘at the [wear] limit’. I booked the car into Prospect Solihull based upon my experience of their high-quality work and fair pricing. 30 minutes after booking the car in the Technician working on the vehicle informed me that the discs and pads did not need replacing; “bring it back when they do and we’ll sort it for you”. It would have been so easy to fit the parts they’d sourced to the vehicle that was taking up space in the workshop – but no they did the decent thing. In addition Andy the owner tells some entertaining and very informative stories about life in the world of Mercedes Benz.
I can definitely recommend Prospect Solihull. I’ve used them a few times now after recently buying a late model Freelander 2 from another dealer. It has needed a few repairs (under the dealer warranty) These repairs have been done and I’m satisfied with the end result. They always explain everything that needs replacing and costs involved etc. They are even happy for the dealer to pay them directly which saves me paying and having to claim the money back. Especially with the recent expensive warranty claims! Some garages won’t deal with warranty companies but prospect have been really good about it. Luckily the dealer warranty is an in house warranty so claims are agreed and paid very fast and easily. Unlike other warranty companies who try to get out of paying! I will be back in the future and will probably use them for servicing and repairs in the future.
I can not rate these guys highly enough . Many of us customers struggle to find a good mechanic or garage . I have a Mercedes and the main dealer around the corner from these guys does not have a patch on these guys . Honest reliable and do not rip you off for the sake of it . I’ve had nothing but a brilliant service from them 10/10
Rear Passenger car door on my discovery had a small dent. Andy and his team took care of it. Excellent service, quality workmanship. A gem of a business. Thank you.
