Friendly mechanic ran a quick electronic diagnosis, topped up the oil while he was at it, got us on our way and they refused to take any payment. Kindness very much appreciated. Thank you!
Brilliant! They make you feel so at ease and are really friendly. Very trustworthy and do a great job. Have used a few times over the years for service and MOT's and it's always been a positive experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Took my car here for it's first MOT. Booked by phone. I did have some confusion on where to park when I arrived. But someone came out promptly to move it for me. I was updated on the cost of work that needed to be carried out and the work was completed by lunch time. Very happy with the work carried out and the professional interactions I had with all the staff.
Came here for the first time as my car needed an MOT and I suspected, given its age, that it would require work to pass. Went for the combined service/MOT package as the price was reasonable. Very easy to book online and I received email and text reminders in advance. Impossible to park off-road when I arrived so I had to leave my car in a resident’s permit space (of which there were many outside) which made me a little anxious about getting a ticket. When I handed over my keys, however, they were used to it and apparently keep an eye on the situation, moving vehicles around accordingly. My car needed a fair amount of work, including two front tyres and front suspension arms, but communication was good and it was ready to be picked up at 5pm on the day. Overall a good result. My car wasn’t clean when I dropped it off, but was really dirty when I picked it up. I understand that fitting new tyres is a dirty job but the alloys were black with hand prints, together with oil/grease marks on the bodywork. I wasn’t expecting it to have been cleaner than when I left it, but I didn’t think that I would have needed to take it to a car wash immediately afterwards. Other than that I was happy with the experience and would return.
Fab independent garage, lovely guys I’ve been going to them for years. As a young woman I’ve had my fair share of other garages ripping me off. Not here. Every quote they’ve given me I’ve then checked with my dad (who knows far more than I do!) and he always says their prices are good. They also explain stuff well without being patronising. After my car went in to be fixed recently I was still experiencing issues afterwards and they had it sorted within a day, free of charge and no questions asked. Highly recommend.
