After explaining roughly what I wanted to do Toby went through his recommendations and rough pricing to fully rebuild and upgrade my engine to a 1641cc with Engle 110 cam and lightened flywheel I dropped the engine off the same day and was quoted 4 weeks to complete the work. 4 weeks later and bang on the quote I was given on the phone I had a brand new 1641cc engine ready for me to build the rest up and fit to my 1960 bug. I’m no mechanic and Toby was more than happy to help and give advice every step of the way Now I’m going through the run in process I’m still getting advice and guidance, I will be returning to NoRad to finish the process and for future works
Took my Beetle to NO-RAD to recommission the breaks and engine after it had sat for two years having lots of bodywork done, and they did so much amazing work! Excellent communication from them at all times made me feel like it was in the best hands. And very fairly priced for all the work they did. Won’t take my bug anywhere alse now. Absolutely brilliant service from dedicated and experienced aircooled fanatics. A1!
Excellent communication. Let me know all work they were intending to do and we're clear about the price. Will definitely be returning in the future to tick off more from my "list". I have a 1972 model VW Crossover Baywindow as a daily driver.
Toby and Luke at No Rads are brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to looking after air cooled vehicles. My 1970s Beetle 'Isabelle' was treated with great care and had a full safety check and a few adjustments made plus retro wing mirrors fitted. Nicky Morrison
