Explained to Max how important it was for me to get the car up and running and they managed to have it diagnosed, ordered the relevant car part and had it replaced in a couple of hours. Know what they are doing and really nice people! Highly recommended
As I was driving back from the New Forest to Brighton, I noticed a rattling sound that worried me. I called these guys and drove in to have them listen to it, he figured out straight away it was the exhaust pipe, and found one of the rubber bands holding it in place was broken. He fixed it in less than 10mins, and didn't even charge me. Honestly, I am very grateful and if they were local I would definitely go back to them with any issues I had with my car. Top quality humans willing to help someone with a problem in the middle of a long drive 👍🏻
Just don't go anywhere else. In the nearly 18 years I have owned my beloved (but sometimes not so faithful) V8 Disco 3, I have never come across a garage service as brilliant as this. Twice now, Carla, Joe and the team have been instantly reassuring, allowing me to drop the car to them straight away. I came across these guys by accident as they were my nearest garage and the only ones that would help. I arrived barely moving, dash ablaze with sensor lights and followed by the RAC. I left my car and worries with Joe. The EMS was completely under water as all the drains had blocked up. Extensive work followed which was done in good time. Parts that were no longer available new were sourced as required. I was kept informed throughout and could not have been happier with the work. The second visit I chugged in after a trip to London the previous day having had a great run until the last few feet away from home when the engine died. Again diagnosed (sparkplugs and air mass sensor!) and fixed by the team. I will take their advice and have the car serviced by them each year which I think will avoid such embarrassment in the future. I have just been up to London again today and the car ran like new. Thank you all very much indeed.
They are the Range Rover whisperers... The best Land Rover and 4x4 garage on the South Coast. Their diagnosis is genius and the work is robust and flawless. I cannot say enough about how happy I am. Land Rover Chief Technician 18 years+ and a lifelong 4x4 racing and modifying specialist who work brilliantly together.
Imagine. You're on holiday in a 45 year old car with family. On a New Forest minor road. Pull over to let someone pass. Pothole cuts a hole in exhaust. Park up and on the phone for help...... Couple of garages had garbled answer phones or didn't answer. Got through to New Forest Garage. Cheery voice said to bring it over. Bit tricky to find unit but they talked me in. Bit of chit chat and a ramp was cleared. Car on , exhaust repaired. We got stuck in to more chat and tasty coffee. Trust a Land Rover garage to have a ' can do ' attitude. Years of experience with the mechanics here. Wonderful to find a family garage who would help someone who isn't a customer. They can teach main dealers a thing or two about customer care. Good news, repair held for rest of trip and got us home. Cost, half hour labour plus materials. Warning. Made me chuckle. Has country garage toilet..... only the bold enter here! Many thanks for renewing my faith in the helpfulness of strangers.
