From the point of booking in, right through to the completion of work, the team have been transparent, given thorough detail, images and videos of the work that needed doing and explained why. I have been to 5 or 6 garages in Derby and this by far comes out on top, I will be returning for sure. If honesty, affordability and putting the customer first is what they are aiming for, then they are hitting the nail on the head. Whatever you do team, don't ever let Jo escape! She is a huge asset to the garage and her customer service is amazing!
Super friendly and always give a very accurate expectation of price and check with you before going ahead if they discover anything that changes. If there's a 'shopping list' they'll explain what's a 'do it now', what's a 'next time your in' and what's a 'let it develop'. They are also more than willing to show you exactly what the problem is so you feel included and happy to show you any old parts they've replaced. They have never let me down and genuinely care about customer service.
This garage booked me in quickly and conducted a check on a car for me, the car was being sold privately and initially I thought the car was pretty good however this garage flagged up a timing chain problem, advised was expensive to replace. Seller wouldnt negotiate so I looked elsewhere for a vehicle. All in all this garage prevented me making a costly mistake. Can't thank them enough. Credit too to Jo the receptionist, very efficient.
Bartek is one of the best mechanics i have come across in Derby. We have been using Monkey Garage for over 7 years for all our mechanical needs and have not been disappointed. A garage you can trust.
