With 5 minutes notice they made room to park the car ready for inspection when they could fit it in with their schedule. I was told this would be the following Tuesday. The car was fixed Tuesday. Every other garage I contacted said two weeks and did not seem to want or need the business. So when the chips are down and you need your car for work, this is the only garage you need to go too. Much appreciated. Andy & Nicola.
Second time using garage. Excellent service from booking online and telephone contact with garage mechanic Had mot, service and brake pads all completed with expertise and advice, would always highly recommend for any issues and maintaining car services etc prices good and nice to use a garage not overpriced and as a female not ripped off, as can be daunting to bring car in some garages. Reception lady really lovely too.
Best thing I can say about M Lye Autos is they do the basics right, booked appointment online and called me to confirm that it was booked in, when I did the same with Vauxhall directly, no call and didn't even have an online record of me when i called them, another garage said they would call me back and didn't. When I took it in friendly staff on the desk and called me when it was fixed so I could head down to collect it when I was ready. Other places was weeks away to fit me and quoted me more (leaking coolant, needed new water pump and thermostat). I was in bind with starting a new job the week after and having to do the school run, these guys really helped me out and would definitely recommend and will use them again the future.
Exceptional service at a great price. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants their car looking after by a trustworthy garage, who are very knowledgeable and keep you updated on their progress. If you're looking for a local garage to fix your car then definitely give them a call.
Very transparent with me, very flexible on hours and reliable in terms of fitting me in whether they are busy or not… great price for the work needed!
