We were on a visit over the Easter holiday weekend to see our son in university when the car’s dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and went into limp mode 300 miles from home! We called Lochrin Autos and were told to bring the car round and they went out of their way to fit us in, despite being fully booked. The car was plugged in and diagnosed, parts were ordered and delivered and fitted and we were supplied with coffee as we waited. Michael and Catherine were wonderful. They made sure we were reassured and would not let us leave until they were happy with the car. What a place, what fantastic people, what fabulous service. We can’t recommend them enough. And today Lochrin Autos have been fantastic. Unlike other experiences I had in other garages where I had to expend quite a lot of money to still have the issue unresolved after 3 months, because they weren't sure, Lochrin really cared about our safety and getting to the root of the problem without being at our expense. Such a professional service, the whole team is very welcoming, they take the time to listen and are very reassuring. Once you have found your Garage, you have found a treasure.

On a trip from the Scottish Borders with wife and four children onboard I experienced steering wheel shudder and a smell of burning. As we entered the centre of Edinburgh the brakes started to fail and we pulled into the side of the road. The heat coming from the front off-side wheel was immense. A quick Google search and the nearest garage was Lochrin Autos. We managed to drive in first gear to get us there and was met by Michael Mortazavi who immediately identified the issue - ceased brake caliper. He took time to show me and explain the problem. He was fully booked for the day, but on learning we had travelled from the Borders, he said he would do his very best to fit us in. We got a taxi to the kids pre-booked swimming at the Commonwealth pool and after the session started to walk back to the garage. I received a call (although I missed it) followed by a text advising the car was ready - very impressive and efficient. On return the car was sitting ready, washed and hoovered. Outstanding service and brilliant service delivered by a true gentleman. Its a five + rating and happy to fully recommend this garage.
