What a pleasure talking to Dan and learning about this hallowed Healey ground! This family and their expert crew are true stewards of the marque. This shop turns out some of the finest Austin Healeys on the planet - both concourse-original and stunning, forward-looking examples.
I recently had the honour of entrusting my beloved Healey BJ8 with JME Healey in Warwick and boy this was the best decision I made - it certainly felt that my car had gone home albeit briefly. My car was collected from my home address by Chris and what a delightful, friendly, professional chap he was, I immediately knew my car was in the best of hands. You name it and I was experiencing problems with it in/on the car as I had never had a detailed examination and/or service since I purchased it some 20 years previous. Leaking out copious amounts of engine, gearbox, sump oil onto the garage floor, engine overheating, gearbox issues to name but a few. My Healey was given an in depth inspection by JME operatives, who were as professional as could be having a detailed mechanical knowledge of my model of car as they do all other Healey’s inside out. Before any works were conducted, detailed findings were reported back to me by Chris who kept me appraised throughout which was extremely helpful. All findings were itemised as works that were in urgent need of attention to things that would require attention at some stage, so I could decide what works I wanted them to complete to meet with my budget. All works were conducted/completed to the most professional, highest standard, I could not have been more pleased with the final result. If you love your Healey and want it repaired, rebuilt, serviced to such high standards you will not go wrong using JME Healey in Warwick. When all works were complete as I could not collect my car, owing to inclement weather, JME very kindly offered to store my car amongst their beautiful collection of Healey’s until I was ready to collect, which showed the respect and regard they hold for their customers. This was eventually backed up when I collected my BJ8 from the JME workshops in Warwick, it was like walking into an operating theatre with many Healey’s in all states of repair/rebuild. They say you can judge a person and their work ethic by their cleanliness, well the workshops were sensational with all works being conducted to military precision. Chris greeted me and showed me all the works they had completed and showed me all the worn items removed/replaced including from the gearbox during its rebuild, it was truly amazing and I was absolutely delighted with the final result. My car now runs better than ever, the gearbox is a dream with gear selection now a breeze and as for my garage floor, no more leaks - this is in addition to the welding and replacement of numerous parts, seals, grommets, gaskets etc From my experience, I cannot recommend JME Healey enough if you cherish your classic Healey and want it dealt with by experts. Thanks JME Healey, a delighted and very satisfied customer.

The advice I was seeking was satisfied in conversation with Chris who, as always, demonstrated his willingness and vast knowledge of the Healey brand. Always worth a visit, if only to see the magnificent facilites and so many different Healey's at various stages of restoration.
