Owner has total integrity and all the mechanics I've spoken to in person or over the phone are genuinely helpful and know their stuff. Joe was a great problem solver earlier this year. The total absence of bs is a welcome change in contrast to many in the trade!! I've used Barnside for a few years for servicing, MOTs, air-conditioning service and diagnostic work.
I'm always a bit scared when it comes to the dreaded MOT, but I was really impressed. Car was picked up and dropped off on the same day at no extra cost, and the man was friendly. The service and MOT was done quickly, and the lady who phoned me to give me an update and take payment was also friendly. I do find garages a bit intimidating, but I felt very at ease and they're an honest garage. 100% will use them again next year.
Replaced 4 tyres here as it was on the approved fitters list on blackcircles. The process took about one hour and 15 minutes. There is a place to wait on site, but there are a couple of cafes within 50 yards.
Booked late for brake pads and discs. Got slot this morning, pick up and drop off Price as quoted. Thanks to Jason and Sarah for sorting prompt service. Been with these guys a few years. They never disappoint, overcharge or charge for things that dont need doing at the time. Highly recommended.
