It’s the first time I’ve used this garage. I’ve only heard good things about Hamptons and I wasn’t disappointed. Friendly staff and booking my car in for some minor work was no problem for them. The car was ready for me at the time they said it would be ready. I’ll definitely be coming back to them in the future. Thank you. Pete B
Absolutely gobsmacked by Brenda Deans review of Hampton Motors Ltd. I wish I could respond directly. Being the person who dealt with the customer who was not Ms Dean, i refute the word diabolical to replace honest. When the vehicle came in the male customer stated the handbrake was not working, on checking this was an MOT fail, along with other jobs. He bought vehicle back without booking in, and i told him we will retest but could be end of day before done, as all Slots booked out. I even called to update him to tell them it would be done at 17.45. On retest the brake performance was not perfect, performing better on one side - he was warned that on entering figures on system it could still fail. This is being honest. The vehicle did pass, so the MOT certificate was issued. I am sorry you feel this is diabolical service and I do hope you find a more accommodating garage ongoing. This is my personal response not for Hampton Motors. I take pride in my job, and the good service we offer, and feel the MOT Tester was nothing but honest and the garage accommodating.
