He quickly identified the issue and explained it to me and his suggestion was a new battery. He was able to get a new battery and fit it the next day. He answered all my questions in a way that I understood. Pricing is good and battery came with a good warranty. Greg is a lovely guy and he is very responsive. Thankyou! Will definitely recommend and use again if needed.
I recently needed help with my US imported car that had a corroded battery terminal and a mismatched battery replacement due to its unique specifications. Moreover, I was struggling with a malfunctioning fuel cover. Fortunately, Greg was a lifesaver! He promptly responded to my call and had all the necessary replacement parts ready in just a couple of days. His professionalism, expertise, and efficiency were remarkable. Not only did he perform high-quality work, but he also did it at a very reasonable price. I am thoroughly impressed and grateful for his service. I highly recommend GW Autos for any auto needs and will definitely be reaching out to him for any future car issues.

I had an issue with another dealership taking me for a ride and taking advantage of me (young female in a car shop who doesn’t know much about cars) and this mechanic went above and beyond to help me. He is honest, knows his stuff and treats you with respect. Cannot recommend enough. If you’re looking for a mechanic in Cambridge go to this one!!
First called GW Autos out of necessity when I couldn’t get my car to my usual mechanic, but after his help with two repairs I would recommend him above the local garages. He works quickly and thoroughly, and each time he identified additional issues with my car that had previously been misdiagnosed, missed, or not mentioned. There was no pressure to have more work done than I wanted, however. I’m now car-free for the time being, but hope to return in future: Greg is highly recommended if you want to be fully informed about the condition of your car and take care of it for the long term.
Greg came to my rescue to replace the fuel lift pump in my VW Golf GT Sport when other chains and traders refused to do the work, had a long wait time and/ or were charging extortionate prices. Amazing service at home, very fairly priced and with honest and extremely courteous service. Brilliant experience all round - highly recommended.
