The whole process was smooth and professional, with clear communication about what needed to be done. It's refreshing to find a workshop that you can trust to get the job done right. Highly recommended!
time for an update ..in these times FEBRUARY 2025 I Have been so fortunate in that I have had all my cars serviced by FREELANCE MAZDA for over 25 years..MAZDA ..mark 1 and 2 MAZDA mx5 7 seater , HONDA MOBILLIO ALL DIRECT IMPORTS and now KIA RIO 3 Mark and ROB ARE of the kindest and most helpful mechanics that I have known . THEY loves what they does ..he loves working on the older cars which truly test his mechanical skills ..no chips plug in he is a great diagnostician and also he is very frugal when it comes to decision making if a car has problems ..he sorts them out and his decisions are the right ones He has looked after all the cars we have owned and those including KIA PICANNTO..HONDA CIVIC ..HONDA jeep style ..Mazda MX5 MK1 which he looked after as if it’s own Mazda ‼️ he loves that model as do I ..then my MAZDA MX5 MK2 which was also well treated ..I had to sell the MX5 because of my age and my wife could not with increased disability get into the car ..I replaced this car with a very unique MAZDA MPV seven seater which is now 18 years old ..I just my luck he is to my knowledge the only trained MAZDA MPV trained mechanic in the south east so it too is well looked after . The cars that we had and sold were serviced by him and we never had a problem If it is personal contact that you like with your mechanic this is the place to go ..he is so well informed on cars and his reputation in MAZDA MX5 club is held at the highest esteem He loves the MX 5 all the models and I am always truly amazed to see how many of these cars he looks after ..always a smile on his face ..he has a great sense of humour ..loves motor sport and you can ask him about any history related to MX 5. formula one ..etc So not only are you getting a great mechanics. you are also in the most capable hands and he is always ready to help and talk ..so in summary it is a great garage for service and banter 😀👏 I rate this garage with 🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎. Updated And they have a great open door policy and even because I am disables pump my tires change lights when blown etc And above all always give my wife and I great advice
Feb 2025: Update: Rob took care of my Mazda 3 which was having intermittent warning lights on the Dash.. Faulty Sensor, While it was in I had the Engine Carbon Cleaned. Night and Day Difference in performance, Even shared the Pictures of before and after. -- Fingers crossed wont need it for another 80k. 23/24 -- Would like to thank Mark for a quick turn around on a repair to My Mazda 3. I will be using Freelance Mazda going forward.
First time using Freelance Mazda, Very impressive services nice people to deal with, will use again and recommend.
Good less expensive alternative to a Mazda dealer. Had my car serviced here many years, never had a problem with the car during that time.
