from 33 reviews on GoogleTook my boxer van in for some new Cils to be welded on. they took time to understand the project - its a camper conversion, so needs doing right. They called me back to see it once the old sils where off as the rust was worse than we hoped (its a 2006 van). They showed me around and advised on the best approach. Its all done now, its cost more than originally hoped, but cant fault their honesty and they did a great job, its looks really tidy now.
To my horror after 30 minutes on the road early this morning we discovered a fault with a brake calliper on our Tiguan. We dipped into Newbury off the A34 and, after a few unsuccessful attempts to find a place to repair it, a local garage suggested Colin at FK Autos. We arrived at 8.30 and were immediately told that he couldn't squeeze us in as he was already booked up for the day. After making several more phone calls desperately trying to find someone to help, Colin realised our predicament and selflessly bent over backwards to help even though it piled on extra time and work to his day. While waiting for parts which arrived in 30 minutes, he was stripping the brake assembly to get things ready. In the end, a new calliper, both discs and a full set of pads were installed in record time. After completing the repair, Colin took the car for a test drive to make sure everything was in perfect working order. Incredibly quick, professional and the friendliest chap you could possibly meet, I cannot thank Colin enough for helping us out.
These guys are really helpful and I would recommend anyone to this garage. Colin helped me in a last minute battery related issue, resolved the problem and followed through with useful advice. I will definitely be returning 👍🏼
