from 230 reviews on GoogleMy partners car broke down due to water pump issues which had to be replaced, two garages nearest home too booked up/busy to even try & help, called Drive Thru MOT & Richard the manager spot on, straight away said no problem get recovery to bring here & we’ll do best to get sorted ASAP, a relief to partner as she was on her own at the time. They assessed car gave honest advice of what was required & itemised cost so knew exactly what’s what upfront & they managed to get it done within 24 hours even though they were very busy they pulled out the stops for her as aware she needed a car they even loaned a courtesy car so could do school run. Top notch customer service/care and definitely use again / recommend.
Hallelujah! I was lucky that Gerry and his team at Drive-thru MOT weren't far away when my Jasper Conran special Millennium edition 1.8 MX5 engine "blew up" (well, just completely failed, due to oil issues, actually) on the A1M near Hatfield/ St Albans. It seems my roadside assistance company is crap (I'm going back to the AA!), but fortunately the tow truck guy knew this garage. Open on a weekend, and with friendly, capable, competent staff, they did try to get life back into my very special edition engine, and were very helpful in assisting me to tow the car away some days later when that prooved to be a lost cause. (T'was "toast", to use technical language...;) Gerry himself seems to be a very reasonable, affable chap who knows his stuff, straight up and easy to do business with. And definitely not "money grabbing", because he didn't even charge me for the investigation (although I will put some Spondulix into his coffers because, simply, his company deserves it after the help they gave me). Some folk you don't know take advantage when you're in an unexpected, slightly desperate situation. Gerry is of the other kind, the kind that do everything they can to help. There's probably a cloak waiting for him in heaven!
Great service!! Professional lady in reception, also very friendly and accommodating. Realistic time scale for MOT and, they even got it done quicker. Highly recommended!
Jaguar XF S Diesel (BMW 535D M-Sport Equivalent). Took the car in for a full service with “BG” treatment. BG245 Fuel System Flush, and two Oil changes with the BG Engine Restoration. Car is quieter, and pulls like a train… many thanks… Plus ZX1 added to the engine oil. MPG is objective as it depends upon the journey. With careful driving…. the run from RHS Wisley along the M25 to Northolt at 70MPH gave me 53mpg. The return journey returned about 52mpg. Before service this had dropped to around 35mpg, prompting the service visit. Harrow to Birmingham Metropol (with careful driving AND ZX1 additive) averaging 50.3 MPG for a 12 year old car (fed on ZX1 at each oil change)…
