Had our BMW into three other garages ( one being main BMW dealer Sunderland) & not one of them could find out why car was rough idling , they all charged for unnecessary work to be carried out & so the problem didn't get resolved. Called Discount Motor repairs to have some work done on brakes & they fitted us in & we mentioned that the other garages said it needed new coil pack & plugs !. Discount Motor repairs refused to just go ahead to supply & fit the parts without investigating the issue & credit where credit is due they found it to be a £30 pipe was at fault, this is because they ( could be bothered) to look at engine & not just plug it into a diagnostic machine. Car is running great thanks to PROPER OLD SCHOOL MECHANIC, WHO DOESN'T MIND GETTING HIS HANDS DIRTY ! THANKS LADS 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My girlfriend was struggling to find somewhere able to do an MOT on her car at short notice until she luckily got a booking here. Couple of issues identified on MOT resulting in a failure. A price was given to rectify issues and work was done immediately meaning the car could still be picked up the same day. She told me the total price for the work conducted and it was so reasonable I doubted if they had actually done the work mentioned or they had just tried it on like some garages would. But no, all the work mentioned had been carried out to the letter. She was happy her car was back on the road the same day and I'm happy I've found a trustworthy garage to use if I'm not around to conduct work myself. Old school garage, honest good work with very reasonable prices. I'd recommend to anyone. Thanks
Cheap as chips and knowledgeable. Oil and filter change for a Corsa was £41 and they changed my front brake pads for a total of £137. I've recommended them for all my family. I will 100% be back for any work on my car
