from 155 reviews on GoogleWe had a problem with the lock for the boot of my wife’s car. I took the car around to Dell Motor Services on a recommendation. Reception staff were courteous and Clive immediately had a look at the problem and managed to resolve it there and then. A really fantastic service from a local business.
I had to call in at Dell Motor Services today at very short notice due to a problem with my brakes. Clive was awesome and very quickly rectified the issue. I would have been completely stuck without his help. A great, friendly and professional garage where the owner and staff couldn’t be more welcoming or professional. I’d highly recommend. Brilliant experience, had a service and MOT back in December with Kwik-Fit in Aylesbury and the spark plugs flagged up as being due to replace, took it in and the guys were questioning as to why I wanted them done as it's very rare these days they need replacing, I explained I sometimes get a 'rattling' noise come from the bonnet and also Kwik-Fit flagged it up. One of the mechanics came out and drove the car around with me in the passenger seat as they didn't just want to go ahead with the work as I was looking at £150 for the spark plugs and if they were absolutely fine that's wasted money, when the car had stopped you could hear the rattling noise I mentioned so he explained to me that replacing the spark plugs wouldn't change that but they will still investigate the weird rattling noise for me. Got a call about 3 hours later that the rattling noise was due to part of my air box being loose and in fact broken away, caused by another garage. Picked up my car, bloke at reception was lovely, explaining to me that spark plugs rarely need doing these days as they are so robust and it's annoying that I'm paying for someone who has broken my air box which later down the line would of caused me issues. Felt massively looked after here, no lying to me and saying x, y and z needs doing which unfortunately a lot of garages will try on you especially being a woman. He even double checked with me that they didn't do my service for me because he said if Dell Motor did the service he would of done the work today free of charge. Would highly recommend these guys
Offered a cancellation for a heart operation, unfortunately wife’s car nearly out of M O T, problem everywhere I phoned fully booked and can’t touch it for 10 days.Phoned Dell spoke to Rob, also fully booked, but if I wanted to bring it in Monday and leave it with him he would squeeze it in somewhere. Just got home MOT done. First class service, will be getting family cars from now on.
This garage have been an absolute life saver for me on a number of occasions. Last week I was caught in the torrential downpours, with 2 young children in the back, when my windscreen wipers stopped working. I panicked and drove as best I could to them without an appointment. Not only did they fix the problem there and then they didn't even charge me! I cannot recommend them highly enough
