They have been looking after my car for the last 6 years and the service I have recieved has always been exemplary. They are courteous and friendly as you would expect from a family run business. Nothing is to much trouble and no additional work is carried out without first being informed why it is required. I definitely recommend them.
I have used Chalkwell Garage for years for all my servicing and MOT work. They are always very efficient, helpful and honest in their billing. I put my car in for a full service last year but having examined the car and took account of the mileage the mechanic assessed that it only required an interim service which cut the costs for me. I don't know of many garages that would voluntarily reduce a bill when they could have completed and charged for the full service.
Used Chalkwell for MOT's for over 20 years, mechanics come and go, but always consistent and good quality feedback and advice when any work is required. One of the few garages that do not use MOT as an excuse to generate work... they are happy to advise.
