I heard about them via word of mouth and they said the man that runs it is lovely, and I can definitely vouch for that also(sorry I didn’t get your name!). He fixed something with the tyre and didn’t charge me, he wasn’t even going to mention it, it was only because I brought it up. I’m a bit clueless with cars and he came out to show me how to check when my last service was, whilst he was doing this he noticed my door squeaking and sorted that out. I will be back here and will continue getting my MOTs done here
Had a serious issue with the steering on my car as I was up from Yorkshire working at Cumbria Uni. Making a bad cracking sound on the turn of the wheel. Didn’t know what was causing it but obviously not keen to drive the 3 hours back home. I had Breakdown Policy with a company called Emergency Assist. They refused to come and assist as ‘technically you haven’t broken down as the car still moves’. Looked at the reviews for Cecil Street Auto Repairs and gave them a call to see if they could help. They couldn’t have been more helpful. As it was only a mile away I said I would risk driving it down. Turned out it was a snapped coil spring. I expected to have to leave it (it was after midday at this point) and have to get the train home, but they said they’d sort it straightaway. Which they did, new spring ordered and fitted in a couple of hours. That’s outstanding, and I’m back home now all sorted. Thank you so much, you were all fantastic.
Can't thank these guys enough for helping me out when I broke down on my way from Scotland to Surrey! They went out of their way to get me the right part on the same day and get it fitted so I could get back on the road. They went above and beyond and I am very grateful. Highly recommend.
Had my old passat in for mot. All work completed quickly and efficiently. Staff very helpful with the queries and concerns I had before the test and after. Very impressed. I'll be back. Thanks again
After another garage had a look at my car and couldn't figure out what was wrong for MOT, Cecil St auto repairs told me to bring the car in the same day and within a few hours of dropping it off they pinpointed the fault. Great service and communication. Highly reccomend these guys for a proper thorough job and I'll definitely be back. Thanks again
