A fantastic experience yet again, i dont think there is any reason i can find ( or anyone it seems ) to think that this place & service will ever not be 5 stars. Booking with Pal and then met at the garage by Bill. The garage has a wide opening door and has an excellent array of tools that are all explained to you. Bill assisted me again with the ramp so the right jacking points under the car were used. I used the bay for a days detailing, it was that nice that it made an excellent weatherproof, secure and clean space which is just what I needed to correct the paint and ceramic coat. I travelled for over half an hour each way as there is nothing I can find in the south east that sounded like this and ticked everything I needed at this price ... I hope to return next time to try my hand at some maintenance work.
Great place to work on your car, very clean and bright. Received a thorough induction to safely use all the equipment. Well equipped with tools to get the job done, needed a specific tool and Bill was very helpful providing it and even giving me a hand with some stubborn exhaust bolts plus advice. Great workbench to perform jobs comfortably. Very handy powerful impact gun and air tools at your disposal. Will definitely use Car Ramp Hire again.
I am so pleased to find this garage to self repair my car. The welcoming and explanation was excellent and the garage itself was looked like an absolute dream. It is well very clean, well equipped and the ramp is easy to use. I worked on my vehicle absolutely privately so no interruptions at all. I can highly recommend and I look forward to go back again soon. Many thanks for those they made this garage available to use it’s makes many of us life easier to repair our own vehicles.
Update July 2023: This garage continues to be an Excellent place to work on you car. This July 2023 update is done as I cannot add a new review but want to say that the garage continues to be excellent with great facilities and a very knowledgeable manager that know his stuff. In 2023, this garage still has all the facilities needed to complete a job on your car. The ramp is excellent allowing me to go under the car and repair it with ease. Highly recommended! 2022 Review: Excellent place to work on your car. The garage manager really does know his stuff and is very knowledgeable. The garage is equipped with tools to get the job done, ran out of tape by mistake and Bill was ever so helpful providing it so I could complete the job. There was good space to work on my car comfortably. Great ramp to perform jobs comfortably and safely. Very handy powerful impact gun and air tools at your disposal. Will definitely use Car Ramp Hire again.
Awesome place! I used to go regularly to West London from Hackney in East London where I live to another self-service garage until they shut down. Luckily I now found CAR RAMP HIRE. Trip from Hackney to Gravesend in the morning lasted just over 45 minutes. Easy to find. The guy arrived some before the opening time and gave me thorough introduction to everything in the workshop. He later popped-in to check how I am doing. Generously he offered hand and help me in couple of things I was in doubt. about. He ran his smoke machine to identify if there is an air leak in engine somewhere. That was a great help. Thank you very much. The garage is super neat and clean and what is important for my old eyes :) very bright. Lots of skylights and extra electric light makes it really easy to see everything under the car, which is usual trouble for me in darker places. Perfect easy to operate lift, and very good radio kit on the wall, good sound, which I happily listened for the time I spent there. Everything inside is just like it is on their website pictures neat, clean, spacious and well thought and equipped. I look forward to go back next week for couple of more bits I have to do. Surely I will be using CAR RAMP HIRE in the future for my car services. Thanks a lot!
