from 64 reviews on GoogleTook my daughters car to Lee and the team after three other garages either couldn't or wouldn't take the work on. It was going to be a major job that was not going to be a quick fix. Basically involved removing half the engine. Sending the block away and having many parts removed and replaced. This was more a couple of weeks work than a couple of days which was fully expected. Yet despite the many other jobs they had on Lee and team took this job on. So while they had my daughters car they fitted the extensive work that needed to be done in between many other jobs they have. They were more than happy to explain what was going on and what had or had not been done on the occasions that I spoke to them or popped in to see them for an update. Nothing was too much trouble. Always ready to take the time to stop and explain. After the work was completed and the car was running perfectly I received the invoice from Lee. To be honest I of course was expecting an expensive bill because of the extensive work that had been carried out. I was though in a way surprised at the price because I was prepared for more due to the time and parts spent on it. Don't get me wrong it was a lot of money but a fair price in my mind. Despite me being local to Burton Latimer Car Care this was the first time I had taken a car to them and what a job for the first time!! Great job though guys and I would recommend them instantly for anyone who needed a garage where superb customer service and quality workmanship is an obvious requirement for them. Best wishes and thanks again and see you in the future if need be. Cheers!!
A friendly local garage found on the main road through Burton Latimer.. It's literally right next to sainsburys. Drive in the main entrance to the supermarket and its immediately on your right.. New owners have taken over from late last year, and are slowly renovating the garage. There is now a sofa to sit on if you're waiting. I find these guys to be friendly, helpful, and specialise in Vw and Audi cars. I trust their judgement and would take my car there again..!!
Massive shout out to Burton car care, after my daughter took her car to Halfords kettering when the oil light came on and paid for them to top the oil up, they told her the oil cap was broke and proceeded to try and take part of the engine off with pliers!!!! In the commotion she locked her keys inside the car, Halfords offered no help and left her in the car park alone and distressed thinking her car was broke. Called Burton car care, Lee was there within 30 minutes, with perseverance and patience managed to hook the keys from inside the car and squeeze them out the door, then went to check the faulty oil cap which was not faulty it just has a slow flow part on it so you can't add the oil too fast, I know nothing about engines but it was obvious the cap wasn't broke and the part Halfords were trying to get off with pliers belonged to the engine. Can't thank Burton car care enough, amazing customer service that you rarely find nowadays. 💯
Amazing ! Booked our car in for a Mot and handbrake was not working. Me and my husband don’t have a clue about cars ! They explained everything clearly and what our options were. The parts arrived early and they even stayed to fix it so we would have our car back to go on holiday ! They explained everything they did. Everyone who works here are so lovely honest and trustworthy and the communication is amazing. Would highly recommend. Thankyou again! Very happy customers
Used this garage for the first time today for an MOT the service is great staff are friendly I will be getting all my work done here. Thank you
